Will not install – Fatal Error

We have not encountered this issue before. Which version of wordpress and the plugin are you using?

I’m using 3.8 and latest buddypress. I have optimized my database, and re-saved permalinks. @ https://www.saturdaynitelive.com
Have been trying to figure this out and this is what I see now on activation;

Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /home/content/a/l/b/albertaevents/html/wp-content/plugins/bepro-listings/bepro_listings.php on line 360
which refers to flushing permalinks, as you have noted in your documents
“The issue revolves around pages not working on activation or they stop working during an update. This is because of an issue with wordpress permalinks. We have established new features in the plugin to flush permalinks during activation and upgrade. This has fixed the problem”

would be nice to try your directory but, well…

There is no longer a need to re-save permalinks. I’m also not sure what you mean by “optimized my database”; However, since you are a coder and have identified the function being referenced, please confirm two things:

1) Is that “$this” directive being classing in a function which is in a class?
– Have you tried installing bepro listings on a clean wordpress installation?

Unfortunately, you are the only customer we have encountered with the issue. So we will need to know more about your setup to assist you

Thanks for alerting us to this error. It has been fixed in BePro Listings version 2.0.76. If you come over to our forums, we’ll give you a few points for sharing this *MAJOR* issue. Points can be used (in part/100%) towards purchasing add-ons for BePro Listings
