Will not load on mobile ??

    I have started to notice the httpv embeds do not necessarily load properly on mobile.

    I have a video on the following page:

    It loads and displays properly on desktop.

    On an Iphone, it loads a gray video window (with title) but the video never actually loads. Refreshing the page does not help. Nor does it help trying to load the video where there is a wifi connection for the iPhone.

    It seems like the problem started appearing in one of the last updates – but I am not sure. I also have an interesting issue – most likely caused by a conflict with my theme. Placement of the video breaks my theme formatting code unless I tag the embed with H2 tags.

    not sure what is happening there howard; don’t have an iOS-device handy, but all seems OK on Android (in 3 different browsers) and when simulating iOS by changing the useragent). I’ll try and grab an iPhone from a colleague to test, must a javascript-related problem (which could be caused by another plugin/ javascript misbehaving).

    regarding the layout-issue; could you create a post/page on which I could see the problem?

    Sorry but it turned out to be my fault – pushing the envelope on plugins.

    I have your auto-optimize plugin and also Better WordPress Minify running. Neither seemed to cause trouble and it did bring a speed improvement. But apparently it also interfered with your youtube plugin.

    On the other issue, that appears to be a conflict with Visual Composer – a layout plugin. The conflict only appeared approx 3 of your updates ago.

    You will notice the text: width=”1/4″] That is part of the layout plugin code and only becomes visible when the video lyte embed is placed on the page.

    Gee – I really wish you took donations. I do realize you don’t want to. But I always feel guilty when a plugin developer gives everything for free.

    ow, BWP is great, but combining optimization plugins sure can indeed cause serious harm ??

    regarding the visual composer conflict; “width=”1/4″]” seems to be part of a piece of shortcode, can you paste the entire block of code here?
