  • I am having the same problem. I thought I messed up the code somehow. Hopefully someone will respond with a fix.

    me too, what happened with this plugin, the day before it’s just perfect. Now, It’s broken my column

    Facebook.com changed the minimum size to 292px,
    in addition, it cannot be overwritten like you describe.

    You will have to put it in a div element and then resize
    the div.

    Scratch that DIV part, it was unable to shrink FB, just tested.

    This will work however, add this to style.css

    .fb-like-box span, .fb-like-box iframe {
    width: 220px !important;
    }

    That works fine.

    If (like me) you don’t like playing with Themes you can add the plugin ‘My Custom CSS‘ and simply paste the above code into that, without touching your theme. If you swap or update the theme, the mod should still work.

    captjones or Robin – Can you post a link to your site bc I tried to get this working both ways with no luck. Would really like to see an example. Thanks!

    BTW my site: joup.co/

    site is

    as captjones said, I pasted

    .fb-like-box span, .fb-like-box iframe {
    width: 220px !important;
    }

    into ‘My Custom CSS’ and all seems to be working fine for me.

    forgot to say, leave the width and height boxes blank in the plugin.

    Worked great, thanks!

    Ok I tried this. Including leaving the width and height boxes blank. But after saving the changes, it just repopulates those fields. Man, I really want to sort this but I think it might be my theme holding me back?

    joegrez i just tested on your site, works nicely.

    i can fix this for u, but i would need [Request moderated]

    either add on me skype: [Redacted]
    or keep on trying.

    pretty sure ur just doing sth wrong tho, i’ve used over 100 themes, most of them premium and none of then have automatically shrunk back to original size..

    Hi guys, sorry for that!

    After I spent some time experimenting with Like Box settings, I saw that minimum like box width is 181px, but facebook developers page says that minimum supported width is 292px.

    On plugin page you can see example with thin like box in the top of the sidebar. I set width to 181px in the widget settings and it is working fine.

    If you still experience this problem you can use comments section on plugin page to let me know. I don’t know why there is no notifications when someone create a topic about my plugins.

    Thanks for using this plugin!
