Hi there! If someone could sort this out for me, please. This plugin will not work on my WP page and I am going crazy!

Some Info you may need: I host the WP Site and my ftp structure is
    mypagename.de/all the wpfiles

    Now here is the problem:

Clean WP install. Download and install the EM Plugin. The new Pages are created as supposed to be and not changing a thing at settings. I try to create an event, including category and location. Event is saved. I go to my page and under all my new links is: NOT FOUND

Then I go into settings, Pages, Permalink Slugs and change Events into: index.php/events. (Before it was just events). Now almost all the links work properly but under Events there no listings and it still says: Not Found It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try a search?

What I know so far: When I created an event after clean install, the Permalink of the event was: https://artistworkshop.de/index.php/events/test/

When I created an event after changing Slugs into index.php/events, the Permalink of the created event now is: https://artistworkshop.de/index.php/index.php/events/test/

No matter what I tried, I do not get a listing of Events under ‘Event’. The event itself can only be accessed by f.e. clicking on a category and further clicking on the shown event.

This is messed up and too complicated to comprehend. Help will be much much appreciated!

After clean install, moving f.e. Categories to ‘no parent’, the link works. Keeping it under the parent ‘events’ and the link wont work.

I really wanted it work. Since there is no help in working out my problem, which is that I can not get the event listing link to work, I will have to look for alternatives. I am not able to resolve this problem and leaves me frustrated. Sorry.

Are you able to test permalinks without the index.php part?

Actually I resolved the problem. First of all, WP was missing the .htaccess file. The content of the file I took from the code from the WP settings under Permalinks. Then I uploaded the that file into my WP ftp structure. A bit above in the permalinks settings you also have to choose ‘postname’, save and everything works as supposed to be.

Now I enjoy your plugin. Thanks for caring.

Excellent. Thanks for sharing your solution; might help someone else.
