The plugin developers are so overly dense and greedy that they released an email summaries feature that now sends me hundreds of emails a month.

Now they want all of us to manually turn it off for so many sites, when we never turned it on!

They have yet to apologize or release a patch to fix this and make it feature you can opt into.

Use Google site kit instead. It’s aimed at being functional, without so many cheap marketing tricks.

    Hi @evanmatthews,

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.

Our goal is to provide users with a convenient snapshot of their site’s performance through monthly email summaries. This is enabled by default for website owners who aren’t aware of them and can benefit greatly. We understand not everyone may need these emails, and so the feature can be switched off at Insights ? Settings ? Advanced ? Email Summaries.

By including email summaries alongside other useful features like tracking critical site statistics (such as page views in the last 30 days, top posts and pages, etc.) and custom event tracking (telephone and email click tracking, affiliate and outbound link tracking), as well as additional tools like popular posts and site notes, we aim to offer more value to our Lite (free) users.

That being said, we acknowledge that email summaries may not be well-suited for all use cases, and we genuinely apologize for any frustration it has caused.

We truly appreciate you for taking the time to share your experience with us. If you would like to share anything else, please let me know and I’ll be happy to forward your feedback to the team.

    Thank you.

    Your faux-apology is not accepted.

I will never use or recommend your plugin to anyone again.
