    HI.
We use shipworks for our order processing. We have tried another plugin for sequential orders but it does not change the order number within wp so when the orders are imported into shipworks, it uses the native wp order number. Will your plugin pass the new order info to an order processing plugin like shipworks connector?

    Hey?@edecals3,

Thanks for writing to us about our plugin! I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. I’d be happy to help out here. ??

Full compatibility with plugins that alter the WooCommerce order number will have to be made within the Shipworks extension. As you’ve had trouble with other order number plugins in the past, I suspect that the Shipworks team hasn’t updated their code to use the order number rather than the order ID.

I would recommend contacting the developers who’ve built the Shipworks integration and letting them know the following:

For full compatibility with extensions which alter the order number, such as Sequential Order Numbers, WooCommerce extensions should use $order->get_order_number(); rather than $order->id when referencing the order number.

More information in our FAQ here: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce-sequential-order-numbers/#why%20doesn%E2%80%99t%20my%20payment%20gateway%20use%20this%20number%3F

Would you please reach out to the Shipworks team and let me know if they are able to make these changes for you?

    Thanks,

    Tamara
