• I thought I had successfully exported/imported WooCommerce orders from the store we are moving from one host to another. Looking deeper I now realize that the items ordered were not part of the export in the native export tool. If I use this tool will there be duplicate orders introduced, or will I be able to merge duplicates, adding the missing details? Or is there some procedure I should go through to delete the data now in there?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    hello

Our plugin can only export existing orders. It can’t import them.
I’m sorry, we don’t modify any data in database too.

I don’t know any plugins which will allow to merge duplicated orders.

How do people handle this issue? I’m sure it happens all the time, people start out with the native tools, hoping they’ll suffice, and they find shortcomings, so they have to start looking for premium tools. So what happens with the incomplete data they’ve already put into their new site? We’ve got 3,400 orders, it would take a long time to delete them all, and then you worry there are still bits of data in some tables that were attached to those orders.

Are we expected to delete and start over, or do these tools routinely give us a choice to delete or store over a duplicate?

    Hello

    I understand your problem,
but our plugin can’t import the orders.

I suggest to try official extension
    https://woocommerce.com/document/import-and-export-of-woocommerce-orders/

Export to csv, de-duplicate, import back.

    Thanks, Alex
