• Greetings! I have a client who is in need of a particular function on his website. -It’s for an organization with memberships.
-Members need to be able to log into an area on the site and enter data.
-They will be tracking mileage ridden on horseback.
-Client needs member to enter their name/member number/horse name/date of ride/miles ridden. Somewhere I need to show a total for that member/horse combination.

I like a lot of the features available with this plugin, but after playing around with it, I’m not sure I can make it do what I need. Is there a way to achieve the desired end with this plugin, or need I look elsewhere? If elsewhere, any ideas?

    Thanks much!

The plugin does not have the ability attach a list of events to a particular record, which is what you would need in order to keep a running tally for each member.

The only way this could be done with Participants Database is to manage your members with WordPress users (possibly by using a membership plugin) and then use Participants Database to hold all the log entries for each member. You will need to have some decent WordPress developer skills to get this all set up.

You may find that there are plugins that are designed for members to track various things (such as for exercise or dieting) that could be configured to your purpose. I don’t know of any specific examples, I’d check one of the premium WordPress plugin vendors.
