    Hello .

I was wondering if this will also work with abandoned on checkout because I am using a booking plugin that is sync to Woocommerce but it won’t go though the cart process .

Once the customer book an appointment , they will be redirected directly to checkout and bypassing the cart page .

I want to capture all the details that they fill up done with the booking plugin and clicking book now which will redirect them to the checkout page.

Once they abandoned it without paying , is there a way that we can get an email of the details that the customer fill up in the first stage of form .

    Thanks in advance .

@coatedpill yes, it will work on the checkout page without any issues. All our plugin needs is to pick up the information on the checkout page.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks for the reply .

So how does it work with checkout page ? I mean what is the settings ? How many minutes before it was considered abandoned or if the customer leaves the checkout page , is it considered abandoned ? I want to have an email notification to admin to start with , not exactly to the customer so that admin can follow up with a call or email that can be captured on the form . Not a notification to the customer who just abandoned the checkout .

    Thanks again .

@coatedpill, so the thing is, our plugin’s primary function is to pick up the data entered by the customer on the checkout page and also on the cart page (provided you want to capture the cart data).

That said, our plugin considers a cart being abandoned only when the cut-off time you set has been exceeded. This means that our plugin will consider the cart abandoned when the customer doesn’t place an order after a specified time. You can set the time (in minutes) by navigating to WooCommerce >> Abandoned Carts >> Settings >> General Settings >> Cart abandoned cut-off time.

As for an email notification to the admin once a cart is abandoned, I’m afraid this feature isn’t ready yet, but we’re already working on it and are slowly nearing the final developmental stages. In the meantime, you can see the abandoned cart data under the Abandoned Orders tab section, where you can see all the information regarding an abandoned order in detail.
