Hello Robin!
Thanks for reaching out today!
First off, I want to clarify that the Free version of our plugin exclusively operates with native WordPress forms.
Regarding the integration with the Formidable login form, I’ve conducted some research, and according to the Formidable Forms team: “If you’re using the [frm-login] shortcode to create your login form, it will honor any captcha settings from other plugins that you have configured to work with the regular WordPress login form.”
You can find the reference here: link to the article
Given this information, could you please test if the integration functions seamlessly while captcha is activated from our plugin settings for the WordPress native login form?
Furthermore, according to the same article, “there isn’t yet a way to add a reCAPTCHA with Formidable Forms.” For this context (log in shortcode), this suggests that you can only opt-in for this option and observe its compatibility, as their current code infrastructure and form structure may not support alternative methods of adding captcha beyond the one already provided (via the WordPress native login form).
Therefore, I recommend exploring all reCAPTCHA types to determine which one works best for you in this context. Considering the specific use case, certain versions may perform better than others, so it’s worth experimenting with all of them.
I hope this information proves helpful, and I’m eager to see how everything unfolds and if you’re able to successfully create the integration as suggested!
