Will this work with Oxygen builder?

    Hello,

    I am using Oxygen Builder (3.9) to build out my site, which doesn’t use a theme, and I’m wondering if this plugin is compatible with it?

    * Also, After it converts the images, I saw a video say “you don’t have to do anything else” but will the plugin also update my SQL database references to those images? And will this also work on Oxygen formatted posts and pages?

    (I don’t want to risk my site before knowing if compatibility has been confirmed with Oxygen, so I came here first. Thank you for your help.)

    Hello @support91,

    Thank you for your message.

    The plugin does not change the URLs, so there is no need to update anything in the SQL database. Redirects to WebP and AVIF files are done at the rule level in the .htaccess file, so you will always have the original URL in the HTML code. So it doesn’t matter if you use Oxygen Builder or some other solution – our plugin will work.

    Please install the plugin and if the plugin detects a problem, you will receive an appropriate message. If it doesn’t, it means everything is working fine.

    I see, I installed it and ran it, and I got the error:

    “Redirects on your server are not working. Check the correct configuration for you in the plugin FAQ. If you have checked the configuration, it means that your server does not support redirects from the .htaccess file or your server configuration is not compatible with this plugin.”

    I looked at the “plugin FAQ” link but couldn’t find the answer.. I’m sorry if it’s super obvious, but could you direct me to the right place?

    I want to see what might have gone wrong. Could you send me a screenshot of the Help Center tab in the plugin’s settings. I will check it because in this tab I have an information on how to solve the problem.

    Unfortunately, this does not work on this hosting, and the hosting itself does not want to cooperate (I checked it in my notebooks – I created an account there a while ago to better test it). They are blocking all rewrites for the path /wp-content/uploads.

    Ah bummer, yea my host is kindof “uptight” about these things… well, shoot, thanks for checking!

    @support91 Unfortunately it is. To sum up – the plugin should work without problems with Oxygen Builder, but 20i.com hosting unfortunately will not work due to such configuration of their server.
