    Hi,

The ARVE Advanced Responsive Video Embedder looks amazing. Before I start watching training videos for setting this up, I have a simple question that I don’t see an answer to. In fact, I tried finding the answer using the search box at the top of this support page and entering “S3” and I got this message: “403 Forbidden”

Anyway, will this work with videos saved in Amazon S3? It would be nice if the description for the plugin mentioned whether or not it worked with videos saved on Amazon S3 to save time looking for that answer.

    Thanks!

    Mark

Yes Videos on S3 work, all you need is upload HTML5 playable .mp4 or .webm video files to S3.

Here is a tutorial how to set this up https://docs.sumerian.amazonaws.com/tutorials/create/beginner/s3-video/ You only need the fest 4 steps, it shows you how to get the URL for a video after you make it public.

ARVE works with any HTML5 video file hosted anywhere so S3 is no different here. You can a shortcode to get ARVE to play the video.

    [arve url="https://your.aws.video.url.mp4" /]

Or just paste the URL on their own line, or use embed block to in Gutenberg to use default settings or ARVE for the video. ARVE Gutenberg will come next mayor version.
