hi there, this sounds like a good plugin but I wanted to check if it will do what I think it will. I have an Etsy store and I also use WooCommerce to sell those same products via my WP website. Can I use this plugin to import the Etsy products and then set it up so that WooCommerce will use that info to display the products and allow checkout via my website?

The plugin also says that it will check and if something is sold on Etsy then it will mark it draft on the website – so this would be a way of keeping the inventory checked (so that I don’t sell a product on Etsy and then somebody purchases on my website and it is sold already).

Will this work? Any ideas or suggestions on how to set this up?

    thanks
    Jen

I don’t believe that’s going to work at all, at least not without a bunch of custom development on your end.

Our Etsy Importer imports into an “etsy_products” post type which is not a match for WooCommerce’s “products” post type. So right away there’s a disconnect and separate listings.

Not sure at the moment how I’d handle the rest if I was in the position, to be honest.

Sadly, I also run WooCommerce on my WordPress site. Went through all the trouble and have no idea how to even activate the import from Etsy. They are there – but when I click on their titles I am getting a 404 not found message. This is very confusing – really need to state that your plugin has limitations and that you need experience to work with it.

404 errors is probably a case of needing permalink rewrite rules flushed. Just visiting the Permalinks page should handle that.
