Will uninstalling reverse all images to original size?

  • I would like to uninstall (at least deactivate for the time being) WP Smush. If I do this, will all of my media images return to their original upload sizes “pre-compression,” or will they stay as they currently are? What changes with my images might I expect?

    Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Jen, they will remain as they are now – no reverting. So, whatever you have smushed to date will remain compressed, any if you deactivate the plugin then anything you newly upload won’t get compressed.
