• I have recently upgraded to windows 10 and now I can’t log into the backend of my website.

I have used another computer that does not have windows 10 installed and I can login no problem. I am using Google Chrome.

Is anyone else having this problem? I need help with this asap!

    Thank you!

  • If it works with another browser than Chrome (you ought to have tried that), then you simply need to clear your browser cache and perhaps cookie.
    Otherwise, no idea.

    Hi Rebecca,
I’m wondering if you found a solution? Because I’m having the same problem, and it applies to all browsers.

    Hello,

I’m having the same problem. Did you guys found any solution?

This has happened to me as well. I just installed windows 10 yesterday and not I can’t get in….and yes I’ve tried on other browsers. Can anyone offer some thoughts?

Whats the exact error message you get?

Hi, as I remember you have to disable one service which comes enabled as default with Win 10 but I can’t remember the name. I have written its name at work.

You can do the following and try again.

Go to Start, type in services.msc
Scroll down in the Services window to find the World Wide Web Publishing Service.
Right click on it and select Stop.
This should make port 80 free and restarting WAMP/XAMPP should get you up and running!
