Windows Server Suggestion

  • Hey everyone. I want to buy a windows server for hosting .NET and wordpress sites. Can anyone suuggest me what would be the best to buy in terms of hardware? And also can anyone tell about what other things to consider when hosting a site apart from buying a Server, getting static IP, Domain and having already created website.

    The rest … depends more on traffic than anything else. I would also point out that far fewer of us are Windows savvy than Unix Savvy, and there have, historically, been weird issues with IIS 6 (less IIS 7 and Apache) that may cause you headaches.

    Not that it can’t work on Windows, just most of us don’t. I know many people who have no issues at all ??
