Wish I’d Found This Theme Sooner!

The free version alone is incredibly flexible. You can create almost any kind of design. Unlike other free themes, it’s very responsive to custom CSS; otherwise similar themes limit what you can adjust, such as padding and margins, even when you try to add your own CSS. And it comes with free add-ons (plugins) to create other cool effects, such as the “Stick Anything” plugin that allows you to make any page element stay in one place as the visitor scrolls.

There’s also a nice library of pre-built sites, even for the free version.

There are plenty of discounts available if you choose to upgrade, which means you get access to some premium plugins and quite a few more pre-built sites. You don’t need to activate or use those things for every project – this theme is both lightweight and expandable.

This is the ideal theme to start with, and you can decide to upgrade later. Or just use what it already comes with and perhaps donate a few bucks to the theme creators. Ocean WP is so much fun to work with – you may want to use it for all your sites!
