    Hi,

    thanks for your suggestion!

    Unfortunately, the internal WordPress function that the “Automatic Link Conversion Extension” uses, does not have support for custom URL schemes (like “sms:”) at the moment. That’s why this is not possible right now.
    It should however not be too hard to create this with some custom code, that could actually make use of large parts of that Extension’s code. Unfortunately, due to severe time constraints, I’m not able to implement this as free support currently. Developing and giving support already take a lot of my free time ??
    I therefore suggest that you either try this yourself, or we’d have to work something out.

    I understand there is a limit on pro bono, new to WP & using 10 other plugins, your plugin/support is outstanding, keep up the good works

    thanks for the understanding! Good to hear that you like the plugin!
    Even though I’m not able to code this right now, I’ll definitely add this to my “ideas list”, so that this feature might be available in a future version of the Extension.
