    Hi!

Loving the plugin so far. Simnple setup and powerful functions, nice!

Now the checkout however… Is giving me some issues, and I’m trying to find a solution before looking elsewhere for an LMS-system.

Basically, the checkout looks like hell, and I cant figure out a reliable way to easily fix it. Me and my partner already being used to Divi in other projects we wanted to build our new site using it. So we did, and set it up with LifterLMS + Lifter Labs (with the Divi Friends + Branding enabled).

Wether having the manual payment option enabled or not the checkout is accessible. It is however messed up; The spacing is all wrong, making the checkout effectively unusable. The style of text and buttons also differ from the rest of the site.

Is there any way to get Divis editor to work here? If not, how do I fix the checkout to at least be working as intended?
You can find my site here: https://www.amphinorth.se/course/minikurs-i-stresshantering/, and the checkout here: https://www.amphinorth.se/registrering/?plan=161

    Any help is greatly appreciated!
    Best
    Joel

  • @joelfalk,

    1) We do not have a way to drag and drop the elements of the checkout form around using a page builder. I would love to make that possible but I cannot even fathom where I’d start with that. I’d likely need to create a custom widget for EVERY ELEMENT (field) of the forum. That’s not a bad idea but it would be awfully cumbersome and, to be frank, I’m not sure it’s really necessary. Additionally, you can drop our shortcode inside a page builder to customize a layout and you can play with it a bit. I’m not sure that’s necessary either because #2 is your real issue…

    2) Your [lifterlms_checkout] shortcode is currently wrapped in an html <pre> tag. This makes all white space (returns, tabs, etc…) “visible” on screen. It’s useful when displaying code snippets in a blog post or something and when used with a shortcode it makes everything — in your words — “look like hell”

Head to your checkout page, switch to text mode, delete the <pre> and </pre> around your shortcode. Switch back to visual and save.

    Hope that helps,
