Hello, I’m trying to get the same result experience as if someone types in Eunies Buddies or Eunie’s Buddies. Both garner different search results. How can the results show relevance too? I’m having issues with getting Eunies Buddies to show just results for that combination of words (Eunie’s + Buddies or Eunies + Buddies) but the Keyboard Operator settings are: And Require All terms and Keyword matching is: Whole words but it still comes back as Eunie’s, and Buddies as separate words giving older content results. Thanks again.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

First, check your apostrophes indexing setting. It’s in Settings > Relevanssi > Indexing > Advanced indexing settings. The setting should be set to “Remove”.

If you’re looking for the specific phrase, you can use the phrase operator: a search for "eunie's buddies" only returns posts with this specific phrase. However, this is very literal, and "eunies buddies" won’t return any results if all the posts have “Eunie’s buddies”, no matter what your apostrophe indexing setting is.

I was in hopes of using a specific phrase where one may miss typing the apostrophe (eunies + buddies). Thanks for the quick response.

Unfortunately, the phrase matching looks at the database to see how the text is spelled there, so the phrase must match what is in the database.
