With Square as SOR, editing a product in Woo changes inventory to out-of-stock

I understand you just tried to edit product images in WooCommerce, saved the product page, and the next time you checked the product details in Square, stock levels of this product got reset to zero, is that correct?

There was indeed a bug in previous plugin versions that could cause product stock getting reset under some circumstances, but this should be fixed now in version 2.0.4. I just tested this on my site, and when my System of Record is Square, changing a product in Woo doesn’t even send any update to Square. This is expected behavior, as we only recommend updating products in Woo when SOR is WooCommerce:

This also means that product images you set in Woo might get reset on the next scheduled update from Square–however other information such as SEO should be working fine.

Anyway, we’re unable to reproduce the same scenario on a test site, so can you please send us the System Status Report? You can find it under WooCommerce > Status in WP Admin.

Everything is up-to-date. Still having the issue. I can’t even open it and reserve, changing nothing, without the inventory going to zero. Is there another setting I’m missing? Should the manage inventory be selected in Woo Commerce. I am only looking to add the set on the Yoast plugin, but can’t do that with the inventory being zeroed out.

I’m having the same issue, I have Woo setup as the SOR but any edits I make in WooCommerce result in a out of stock item. If I update any items I have to update them, save them, go back and correct the inventory. Every time.

Still happening. Any resolution?
