Prior to today, everything was fine. Our invoices and packing slips that were printed from this plugin showed the custom options selected on items ordered. We use this plugin for price sensitive add-ons that can be selected when ordering product.

Until today, selected add-ons from that plugin were displayed on packing slips and invoices, but after updating the plugin today to version 1.6.1, none of that works now. I have an invoice that was printed yesterday, and can show you the difference of how it worked before and after the update if you like. Is there anyway this could be fixed?

Hi! Did you also upgrade WooCommerce to 3.0? Did you upgrade the Extra Product Options plugin? Do you still see this extra data in the WooCommerce emails?

A lot has changed with the 1.6 update to make it compatible with WC3.0, but in this part specifically, nothing has changed. So there’s a good chance that the root cause is something else.

Yes, we are updated to WooCommerce 3.0, and I did update the plugin with the advanced download you provided for the next version, but nothing changed.

Thanks! So I think this issue is a result of the WC3.0 update rather than the PDF Invoice update. Do you still see this extra data in the WooCommerce emails?
Is the Extra Product Options plugin WC3.0 compatible?

Yes, the plugin developer provided a new version that is woocommerce 3.0 compatible. I am checking with the client to find out what the email confirmations look like. I’ll reply again when I get an answer to that.

Ok yes – the emails for new orders do show the extra data from the options selected.

I came here looking for a different Invoice/Packing Slip Solution since the one I have been using is apparently no longer supported. glad to see this thread @dotcominfo – I too, use the TM Product Options – love it…so following here to test out when this is working – everything else can be seen (orders/emails) – just the invoices aren’t working…backwards compatibility…ugh.

I believe I have found what’s causing this. If either of you could email me at [email protected] I can send a test version that will let us determine whether my solution indeed fixes this. Thanks!

I have uploaded new version for testing. Could you try this (remove the old version first, settings won’t be deleted) to see if that indeed resolves the issue?

I believe this has fixed the problem. I will have my client review it as well. Thanks for the prompt action!

Thanks for the feedback! In order not to put too much delay on this, I have just pushed a new release with these changes. Let me know if anything else pops up.

Thanks for this posts. But It solves NOT my problem with PDFs after updated WC to 3.0.

    Hello Michael,
These errors are not primarily caused by WC3.0 incompatibility. It’s possible that other plugins output errors in the PDF and this is causing the invoice to crash, but it’s not possible to say what causes this without more information.

Check this for more information about solving memory issues:
    Solving memory issues
And general instructions for solving problems in the sticky post:

If you still have problems after this, please open a new thread with information about what you tried from the guide.

    Hope that helps!

    Hello Ewout!
Thanks for your answer, that helps. I was confused because this error has shown after update-process of the wpovernight plugin.
    regards and many thanks.
    Michael.
