  • Hi,

I get the same issue, doesnt show gravity forms (even with the added plugin:
    GDPR Tools for Gravity Forms).

Does not display Blog comments either.

Only thing user can do is press “delete all data”, and then it only deletes the Blog comments of the registered email address. It will not delete form data.

    Hi there!

@rok-balboa can you please clarify what you did exactly? The consents are only visible if they are given by the visitor somehow. Currently, the only options for that should be either via CF7 acceptance checkbox or custom code. How did you register the consents in your test?

@yowinternet there’s a bug in Gravity Forms add-on which I will fix tomorrow.
However, can you please clarify this comment: “Does not display Blog comments either.”

    Thanks for your patience guys!

    In Chrome in Incognito mode:

    1. I submit a CF7 form as unregistered visitor
(the form containes [acceptance newsletter]…[/acceptance]. I also added in Custom consent types ‘newsletter’ as Machine-readable slug – visible)

    2. Then I went to Privacy Tools page, and submit the email
(I can see Please identify yourself via e-mail text,.. and email field)

    3. After submitting the email, I get confirmation on the page – We will send you an email with the link to access your data. Please check your spam folder as well!

    4. I check the email and received it with the following text:
Someone has requested information about your personal data on XXXXXX
None of your personal data is stored on XXXXXX
If this was a mistake or you did not request this email, just ignore it and nothing will happen.

    5. This is it

I would expect, to be able to remove consent about the submitted data. I understand there is no data stored, except in the email CF7 sent to recipient address.

I think I also mentioned this in another thread – but consents should be logged and stored anyway for potential auditing purposes later. So it makes sense that this is not removable.

However, I’m still unsure if the consents log should be displayed to users. On the one hand, it would make sense, but on the other hand it will for sure create lots of confusion.

Closing this thread, but adding this question to our todo list.
