Wixx main page to WordPress subdomain

  • Hello, I have a main website on wixx and I am creating a wordpress page with formidableforms. Would it be possible to connect the wordpress page as a subdomain? if yes, how would I go about it

  • Of course you can. You have to create the subdomain in your domain administration and point it to the A-record of your hosting. You can find out how to do this from the support team of your WordPress host. In WordPress, you must AFTER THIS enter the subdomain under Settings > General.

    According to my opinion, Wix sites don’t support subdomains for custom content. But you can create a separate WordPress site and connect your domain to it. There are two ways to achieve this:

    1. First, install WordPress on a separate hosting platform and point your subdomain to that hosting.
    2. Use the WordPress.com Business Plan, which allows custom domain mapping. Please correct me If I am wrong.
