WodrFence Flagging file changes in Twenty21 theme

  • I am seeing this across about 10 sites since WP 5.6.

    WordFence is flagging the following:

    Medium Severity Problems:

    * Modified theme file: wp-content/themes/twentytwentyone/footer.php

    * Modified theme file: wp-content/themes/twentytwentyone/image.php

    * Modified theme file: wp-content/themes/twentytwentyone/template-parts/content/content-single.php

    * Modified theme file: wp-content/themes/twentytwentyone/template-parts/content/content.php

    1 existing issue was found again and is not shown.

  • Most probadly are false positvie
    You can cross check the file source code

    Yes, it appears that some file changes were made without an update to the theme’s version. You can click “repair” on the WF scan page to resolve this.
