    Hi, love your plugin.

Previously Autoptimize was able to minify the .woff file. It was not seen in any website test such as gtmetrix. However, after updating foobox plugin to latest version, the .woff was no longer minified. It slows down the website around 2-3 seconds. How should I fix this? I don’t wish to have this 1 file ruining the whole site. Running on IIS though. website link here

If you have a plugin that injects CSS that has fonts, then AO can either aggregate or not aggregate that CSS, but it cannot stop the font-file from loading I’m afraid Quan88.

    Hi Frank,

Before using your plugin close to 8 months back, I have this .woff loading issue that loads last and slows the site around 1-3 seconds.

After using your wonderful plugin, it was not there anymore.

After updating autoptimize and foobox, it re-appears again. Again 1-3 seconds slower.

Checked with foobox team, there did not change the loading or anything with .woff.

So actually I think autoptimize does aggregrate the .woff previously.

What else that I could do?

    Thanks in advance.

.woff files were never aggregated in AO (they’re just linked in foobox’s CSS and AO simply aggregates that CSS), so not really sure why you’re seeing this happen now.

    best approach would be to:
    * run a test on webpagetest.org (and copy/paste the resulting URL)
    * roll back to AO 1.9.4
    * run a test on webpagetest.org (again noting the test result URL)
    * go back to AO 2.0

and provide me with the URL’s to the two tests. this would allow me to see differences between AO 1.9.4 and 2.0 on your site.

    Hi Frank,

How do I roll back to previous version the AO 1.9.4?

    Many thanks in advance

    Hi AJ,

Thanks for the link. Should I deactivate and delete the plugin from wordpress dashboard and upload the file through FTP? Or can I just replace the file directly through FTP?

    Thanks in advance.

you deactivate & delete on the dashboard and then upload & activate the 1.9.4 zip from the dashboard (plugins -> add new -> upload plugin)

I did not rollback the plugin. The cause is with the foobox. But thank you for your help.
