Wonderful tool

I’m the webmaster at OPK-Opistobranquis (https://opistobranquis.info/en) and I find this tool extremely useful.

I previously used Bibliplug Enhanced to manage bibliographic references, and it worked well until WordPress 4.0, then it failed and it was not maintained since 2 years ago, so I had to discard it. Then I switched to Zotpress and I’m delighted.

Zotero Standalone is a good bibliographic reference tool (not as powerful as Endnote, but it’s free), and this plugin really works when displaying the proper references in the proper WordPress posts. I do so by linking the post name to equivalent tags in the bibliographic references and a bit of PHP code.

I’m working with over 20.000 bibliographic references and it works just fine, if a bit slow when sinchronizing the Zotero server database with the WordPress Zotpress database. Maybe there’s a bit of improvement here, by only moving differences, not the whole database every time Sync is performed.
