• I downloaded and installed wordpress on my server solely for the purpose of using it as a newsboard VERY SIMILAR to the one found here https://wrestlingexposed.com/. I have a lot of content being put into my site and I really don’t want to have to keep creating pages myself each time when I can have other members of the site log in and post the content directly to my main page. I was wondering (and I hope I got this right) whether wordpress could be embedded into my mainpage under a “headlines” banner and whatever is posted through wordpress appears nicely in the right location on my site.

I am a complete donk when it comes to coding, I have learned only what I’ve needed to as I’ve gone to create the website I wanted. If you could help me in anyway I would GREATLY appreciate it. Thank you.

All I’m really after is an easy way to add content without having to use the entire blog. I may be missing something but is that possible with wordpress?

Hello, you can install wordpress into a directory like /news and then use an RSS widget to pull the latest items and display them on your front page.

See the link posted above. You can’t use a WordPress widget on a non-WordPress site.

I’m starting to slowly get the hang of this. I found a useful page with an easy step-by-step tutorial, but it’s dated 2005 and yet again I’m confused.

    This time on the loop.

It says I need to insert the loop of the default theme into my div tag. However the index.php inside the theme has no loop, and the loop.php TO ME looks like complete mumbo jumbo and nothing like the loop inside the diagram. What is it I’m supposed to copy into my div tags, the entire loop.php page?

Please see the link posted above.

I’m having trouble following it. Have I not already made that clear?
