Hello! I have *almost* fixed this issue, but still struggling with figuring out what they hey happened.

After installing the last system update, this happened:
    https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Ma8wAhCdzOe9Rg7zUz3G43YE2gyjwmmU

Each of the gallery images was in a tiny scrolling frame!

I went back in and fiddled with the columns, and turned off all caching. That fixed the problem….mostly.

Now the gallery works fine on mobile, but on desktop when you click on the gallery images you get an un-closeable image with a space for comments (???). It seems like this is related to WP’s love of making new pages for each images, but darned if I can figure out how to turn that off, or why turning off caching fixed the issue.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

The comments box should be there – the gallery carousel shows that if you don’t disable comments on individual media files (which you can do from the media library or using a plugin like https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/disable-comments/).

But I’m not sure why it’s not loading the image, nor closing the carousel, nor why it changed the frame in which individual images loaded.

Looking in the browser inspector I see a couple of TypeErrors when I click an image to open the carousel, but I don’t see the same problem on another Jetpack site, nor does it look like we’ve had any other reports, so it looks like this problem is specific to your site.

After installing the last system update

Are you referring to a core update, i.e. for the WordPress software, or for a specific plugin? The Jetpack logs for your site shows the last plugin to be updated on the site is Yoast SEO, on 20 August. Can you please check if deactivating that plugin makes any difference? If not, also try disabling your other plugins, all except Jetpack, to check if it changes anything. If it does, it’s possible one of the other plugins is causing a conflict, so re-enable them one at a time until the gallery carousel breaks again to narrow down which one is causing it.
