WONT ACTIVATE – get_settings is deprecated since version 2.1!

  • Every time I try to install this plugin I get the following errors:

    get_settings is deprecated since version 2.1! Use get_option() instead.

    The plugin generated 508 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.

    I’ve tried deactivating and reinstalling without any luck.

    I disabled debugging temporarily and I was able to activate, however I’m still getting error messages.

    Any chance this could be updated to work with WP 4.0. Your release notes say it is, however it doesn’t seem to be the case.
