Won’t Allow Previous Selection After Clicking Back

    So we removed the Next Buttons and the form advances as it should once a radio option is selected. The issue is that if we click the back button and want to proceed with the same selection as before it will not allow it. It will only allow an alternate option be chosen to proceed with the form, any help?

    Hi there.

    Thanks for writing this. Sorry it has taken so long to get to you on this. Seems we did a bad job of checking the support thread.

    So if I understand correctly – Someone makes a selection, it advances, then they click back for whatever reason.

    If they click back, it should still have the previous option selected, this is why you would have to select another to advance. Here’s why….

    If I am filling in a form and it advances, but then I decide I didn’t select the one I wanted on the last page, typically that individual is going to make a different selection. I don’t see why they would select the same one again to move forward.

    I guess there could be a scenario where they are not sure if they read the question/option correctly and decided to go back to review then decided it was the right selection they made.

    To make this possible, we would need to make it so that the back button triggered to clear the last answer. I’m not sure how prevalent this problem is though.

    I’m going to mark this as resolved for now, but if more people report the same issue, we will surely look into a resolution to make sure it isn’t a common issue.

    Sucks this is the feedback I get after almost 2 months of no response. I noticed when testing and the client noticed within a day of testing their form. This is common, I assure you.

    So you’re not going to configure it to do that with ajax, got it.

    I am also experiencing this issue.

    Is there a workable solutions here or an update available to combat this problem?

    It’s vital the user should be able to reselect there same choice or alternatively like you mentioned trigger the next button once you click back.

    This is pretty urgent as our site launches this week. Any response would be greatly appreciated.

    Also my form is using ajax.
