    Hi,

Just installed the plugin and looking forward to seeing what it can do. Just tried to create my first form, but on the Form Builder section, it won’t let me drag any of the fields (Common, Layout, Add-on) into the box below, where the Send field already is.

When I drag and let go, the field simply returns to the top row of tabs (if that makes sense).

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for checking out Engage!

Can I just check that you are clicking on the box or arrow to expand the box to show the fields before dragging? Common, Layout and Add-on are just the containers for the actual fields.

    Thanks.

Ha… yes, that would be a wise thing to do… ??

It didn’t seem an obvious thing to do, though (I would never have thought of clicking on the box to open, simply to drag).

Is there fuller documentation somewhere? Also, tested out the form, and didn’t receive any notification. Not sure if it’s set up incorrectly – I have notifications for both Admin and Customer for the test, but nothing came through.

It’s a fair point, we’ll look at making that UI a bit clearer. Full documentation and some how to videos are coming soon!

Do you have it set to store the message? If so, does it store the message and not send the email? Or does nothing happen at all?

I’ve just run a few tests and can see that if the email message field is blank when adding the action, the email doesn’t send, can you confirm you have some content in the message field when setting the form builder actions?

Hi, not sure what part of the “message field” you’re referring to. Is it this screen?

This plugin definitely has potential, but at the moment it’s too confusing to work due to the limited documentation.

When you add an admin email or customer email on the actions tab, there’s a field labelled “Email Content”. At the moment you have to populate this manually and if it is left blank, the email won’t send at all. We’ll be addressing that in the next release along with some options to autofill the data so you don’t have to do it manually.

See screenshot here of an admin email with filled in content: https://imgbox.com/2qOelY3q

Really appreciate the feedback, we’ll have the documentation up online really soon!

    Hi Danny,

We’ve just released version 1.0.1 which has a few fixes and UI improvements. When you get a moment please update and see if this resolves your issues.

Documentation is also well under way now as well as version 1.1 which will have a few much needed features.

    Thanks.
