Wont let me set the book size

!st off, very cool plug in. The problem I am having is: the book is constantly trying to be full size. I set the book at any size and it automatically defaults to 1000 px. It is just too big as it is, right now I have a sidebar widget there, so it acts like it wants to get bigger but cant. It keeps jumping size, switching pages and flashing. I left the widget there so you could see what I mean.
If I get rid of the widget, it works fine, but it is huge. regardless of what I set the book width tothe url is:

I have resized pictures, I am at a loss.
