Everything working great, but I just started making albums. When I upload I put them all in the first album and then thought I’d move them to the proper one but can’t move images to another album. Nothing happens. I’ve checked the other albums in case they were doubled but no. I’ve deactivated most of my plugins and cleared cache using ccleaner and webcache. I have debugging on. I’ve checked the latest 15 pages of support and found nothing vaguely close to this problem. I’ve also looked on your website but can’t seem to find anything. https://femininefusion.net

First select the album, then press the ‘Move photo to’ button.
You can also use the bulk edit page, tick the boxes of the photos to move, select bulk action move and select the target album and press the Doit! button.

That is what I’ve been trying to do. I’m in moderate photos and choose the image to move then go to move image section and pick an album and nothing happens. Everything is dead. There are no tick boxes for bulk move or single move for that matter. I’ve gone to the album admin to work from that end and it’s the same thing.

I went to your website admin.
Opened Photo Albums -> Moderate photos.
The first photo is number 105.

I selected Album Europe behind the Move photo to button
    I pressed the button.
I got the confirmation box: Are you sure you want to move this photo?
    I clicked the OK button.
Less than a second later the photo info box was schrunken down to a one line box saying in red: Photo 105 has been moved to album Europe (14)

Then i reloaded the page, and saw that the photo named: Wagatwe Sara Wanjuki ~ American activist is now located in album Erope.

Sorry, but i can not make it easyer than that.

Damn. I’m so sorry!! So it must be a cache issue of some kind. I’ve tried everything for two days to get this going. I really don’t like these cache plugins. Not sure how to clear it all out. When I try to move that very same lady to the right album on my backend nothing happens…grrr.

I hope you use a neat browser like Firefox or Chrome, but not IE?

I use firefox and used their tools for removing cache. But just to check I just logged in using Chrome and the plugin is doing the same thing. It won’t move any images anywhere. I’m really confused. I’ve actually removed w3 super cache the official way by removing files etc but that wasn’t the problem I guess.

Do you get the confirmation box? or did you disable javascript

    Thread Starter frannny

    (@frannny)

Is it the defer javascript that you mean? It’s not checked.I’m sorry Jacob but I don’t seem to be able to find where you disable javascript in the plugin. I’ve even changed to the twenty fourteen theme to see if that made any difference. None. I have use ajax checked.

    No, in your browser.

Why can i do it without problems?
Do you get the confirmation box when you click on the Move photo to button?
Why don’t you answer my question?

    Thread Starter frannny

    (@frannny)

No I believed I answered that. there is no confirmation button and no I didn’t change anything in my browser and even if I had it would have worked when I used the Chrome browser. I have deactivated almost all my plugins. There is nothing cached anywhere. I even deactivated cloudinary in case, but that did nothing.

    found this on wp support and tried on wp-config (didn’t work) define('CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false );
Changed themes: the javascript doesn’t work in any of them
You can see the confirmation box: not plugin
Deactivated every plugin: not other plugin
Tried using backend in Chrome as well as Firefox: doesn’t work.
Only thing left I can think of is that it’s wordpress related…

bestides what I did an hour ago above I’ve done this:

error log in cpanel has only this:
[Fri Oct 24 04:29:23 2014] [error] [client 66.249.65.19] File does not exist: /…….._html/femininefusion.net/wp-content/uploads/wppa/34.jpg
[Fri Oct 24 04:28:40 2014] [error] [client 66.249.65.147] File does not exist: ……c_html/femininefusion.net/wp-content/uploads/wppa/33.jpp

I’m not the greatest with Firebug but it shows no errors or warning when I’m looking at the moderate photos in the admin. When I look at the script part I don’t know what to look for.
    reinstalled the wp admin: nope
This is the last ditch effort before I change plugins…
