• Aloha!

I’ve been using your plugin with Ninja Forms for a while now and it worked really great for a few months. Somehow I stopped receiving emails in my Gmail (Gsuite) inbox about 2 months ago and I missed several inquiries from potential clients… you can guess how upset I was ??

I removed the connexion and reinstalled it. It worked for a couple of days but now it’s not anymore. Can you help?

    Hi @dolgelukkig and @alohajulie,

    That’s bad.
    1) Is your inbox full?
    2) How many emails per day are you receiving? Gmail may be rate limiting you.
    3) Are you using 1.3.x version of the plugin?
    4) Do you see any notices in admin area from WP Mail SMTP plugin regarding email delivery? We track and display to admins errors on sending.
    5) What does Email Test do for you? Do you receive a test email?

    Hi Slava,

Thanks for responding, and so extremely fast, wow ??
    1. nope
    2. not more than 10, SMTP is not Gmail.
    3. 1.3.2
    4. EMAIL DELIVERY ERROR: WP Mail SMTP plugin logged this error during the last time it tried to send an email:

    Mailer: Other SMTP
PHPMailer was able to connect to SMTP server but failed while trying to send an email.
Consider running an email test after fixing it.
    5. Test is sent succesfully

    @dolgelukkig

Ok, so if the test is successful, and taking into account the error text (PHPMailer was able to connect to SMTP server) – that means the issue is with the email itself, not the plugin that sends.
WP Mail SMTP does its job to connect you to the SMTP Host, but the email was rejected. If it connects – that means credentials are correct too. So it’s either server misconfiguration on processing emails on some side or email itself is broken.

What’s the size of emails that are sent?
Have you tried to ask your SMTP Host provider for any specific email limits (email size, email content etc)?
Have you tried to install email logging plugin to WordPress and check the emails are that sent (or not sent)? This might actually help a lot.

    Thank you Slava,

Ik fixed it by changing the firewall settings in the SMTP server.

    Thanks for your extensive reply.
