    Hi there,

I’ve just changed to CPT for Woocommerce. My old tabs plugin isn’t supported any longer. As the data is stored differently I have to re-add all tabs manually.
When I tried to just paste the HTML code into the text window of the editor, I noticed that the tabs content won’t be saved when in text mode. One has to change to Visual first. I made a short video of this behavior. You can find it here.
Maybe you can have a look into this.
Thanks for the great work! Best regards, Rado

    Hi @gutding,

That’s interesting. Thanks for sharing the video. Can you try adding your tabs (like you did) but hitting the post’s publish/update button? Does that have the same results? What if you use a custom tab (instead of a saved tab), does the same thing happen?

I do the majority of my testing with the text tab active and I have never encountered this.

    Let me know.

    Thank you,
    Kevin.

    Hi Kevin,

thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
When I update the page the tabs content will be saved. When I create a custom tab in text mode, the content will also be saved.
Funny observation: If you have one tab shown in Visual mode and the other in Text mode and you change the order of both, just the content will flip. The viewing mode will persist.

    Best regards, Rado

    Hi Rado,

Yeah, it’s difficult to work with moving the actual WYSIWYG editors so what we do is copy the content between the editors rather than move the actual editor. That’s why the viewing mode persists.

I will do what you did in the video to see if I can reproduce and fix the problem you’re having.

    Cheers,
    Kevin.
