Wont send emails to certain accounts

  • First off, I am not the programmer on this, so my expertise is limited.

    We have two wordpress sites that use various forms to send request for quotes, newsletter sign ups etc.

    The email send from these forms (and there are more than one per site) do get through without any issue to yahoo, mobileme and gmail accounts. But they DONT get through to email addresses that are hosted at godaddy and smaller third party email servers. My programmer is pulling his hair out, and he’s a great wp programmer on all other issues.

    The forms worked fine when the site was CSS; stopped working when we converted the site to wp custom themes. They didnt work when the site was hosted on a hostgator VPS and the dont work now on a godaddy managed server.

    Porgrammer has tried wp_mail and wp_smtp

    No luck. Any ideas?

  • Start by asking your current hosts about this. Many hosts do apply filtering rules on their mail servers than can block some mail.
