I do not control the www.ads-software.com updating system, nor does my plugin have any kind of built-in update functions. All of the updating is handled via the plugin repository/svn system here on www.ads-software.com.
To make sure there were no problems with missed/corrupted files in the latest update I uploaded a couple of days, I just now did an update to this latest version on another site of mine, and no problems at all. There have been hundreds of downloads/updates in the last few days, with no other reports of update issues.
To me, that suggests either a connectivity or firewall issue on your server when you were trying to update, maybe some file/directory permission issues on your server, or there was some kind of problem with the www.ads-software.com server when you tried to update, and the connection timed out.
If automatic update fails to work for some reason, just click the button on the main plugin description page to download the latest version as a zip file. Then, you can either use FTP to upload and overwrite the plugin files on your server (after extracting them from the zip archive), or you can uninstall/delete the old version and then install again using the zip file upload method with the zip archive you downloaded.
Other than that, I can’t help you as my plugin has no built-in update functions, other than indicating the current version so the WordPress system knows if there is an update or not (and that part is obviously working if you are seeing the update).
