That’s a manually created order, and my taxes were calculated / applied using only the newest version of WooCommerce.

many thanks for the response it so very much appreciated.
I am a complete novice at these sort of things, can anyone point me in the right direction as to how I can troubleshoot what might have gone wrong with the update to cause me to lose this functionality?
    I am running:
    WP vs 8.1
    Woocommerce 2.16
    on windows os 8.1
In essence, when I add a manual order I no longer have the ‘calculate taxes’ functionality and also I notice when I add a product the shipping associated with that item is not add to the total either. I would attach a screenshot but don’t know how to!
    Big thanks.

hi – I have an update to my query above. I found that I needed to tick ‘enable taxes’ in the woo commerce settings – not sure why this was the case after the update though. However I still have the problem where when I add a product the shipping does not add to the total. basically the product cost adds to the total but not the shipping cost associated with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You’ll have to define the shipping method and shipping amount for manually created orders – shipping can’t be pulled in from your defined shipping methods or plugins.

The easier way to do this is to use the User Switching plugin, login as the user you want to create the order for, then go through the checkout process for them instead of manually creating the order.

Hello Beka, thank you so much for explaining this to me. Also thank you for all your help – it is very much appreciated. Kind regards Jacqui

Hi Beka, hopefully you will be able to help here. Do you know if it is now possible to add shipping method for manually created orders now?

    Failed to add notify.
