Woo Commerce Stripe Express

  • Hi,

    I have a website where I sell products. I was going to use Stripe to do this but don’t like it. I tried to delete my information from Stripe Express (the thing that is used when I link my wordpress to Stripe) but it says I can’t do it myself. I have to ask someone from Woo Commerce to do it. Here’s the exact wording I was sent:

    `Express account holders cannot delete their Express Connect account, however, this account type can be deleted by your platform making an API call with the account ID. What you need to do to cancel it, is to contact your platform (WooCommerce Payments) since they would need to arrange this from their end, Since they built their integration with Stripe. Kindly reach out to WooCommerce and they will be able to process deletion for you. I hope I was able to guide to the right path.”

    So that’s what I’m doing. The support person at Woo Commerce’s Twitter account told me to post this here so I can get this resolved.
