noticed from version 7.4 the backend is very slow

i try different servers also optimized cpu all VPS with enough resources

time in backend to load order page or plugin page or whatever 30/40/60 seconds… tried all revision from 7.4 to the latest all put this enormous delay

cleared transients and cache… using query monitor but not so clear where the culprit

while with woo version 7.3 require 3/4 sec or less to load all backends pages

Someone else suffer from this problem

    Hi @nikketrikke ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that the backend of your site is experiencing a slow load, is this correct?

Please can you clarify if it is only the backend of the site that is experiencing this issue, or if the front end is also producing a slow load?

As a first step, can you work through the below support article and see if this makes any difference:

We’d be happy to take a look at your System Status Report to see if we are able to identify anything that may be contributing to this issue.

You can share a copy of your sites System Status Report by navigating to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.

    Cheers!

hello i already read the article… i have vps optimized so fast enough… the site on fronted is right due cached but seems react well… I’VE TRIED to deactivate ALL plugins and chenge theme to default storefront and also cleared woo transient and cache and with ONLY WOOCOMMERCE ACTIVE backend is slow 25 second to load plugin page for example…

if i swtich to version 7.3 the backend is normal with only WOO active 0.5 sec. to load a page

so for me very strange version 7.4 to the latest slow down the site

    Hi @nikketrikke

Thanks for providing further information about your issue here.

I understand that reverting back to version 7.3 fixes the slow load on your site, yes?

Last May 10, 2023, WooCommerce 7.7.0 was already released. Can you please update your core version and see if this resolves the issue?

Otherwise, please share your System Status Report as requested by @beautyofcode above.

If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.

    Thanks!

    Hi @nikketrikke ,

    Thanks for providing an update.

no one has the same issue????

This is not something I am able to reproduce on my end, as my admin loads without any issue with WooCommerce 7.7 active on my test site.

As previously requested, please can you share the following so that we can take a closer look at your sites current environment, as well as check if there is anything in the error log that may identify a possible cause:

    • System Status Report: navigate to?WooCommerce?→?Status. Select?Get system report?and then?Copy for support.
    • Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under?WooCommerce?→?Status?→?Logs.

is there a way to send you privately the support code?

Please could you clarify if you are referring to the System Status Report? If so, this would need to be shared with us here. You are more than welcome to redact any information you do not want to share publicly in the forum ??

Also, if you prefer, you can upload the system status report by using?Pastebin. This way you can provide us with the link, keep the file visible for a few days while we check into the issue and then delete it.

    Cheers!

    Hi @nikketrikke

I understand that you’re experiencing a significant increase in load times when using WooCommerce version 7.9 compared to version 7.3. It’s concerning to hear that it’s taking up to 37 seconds to load the plugin page on the admin end, and we understand how frustrating this can be.

The screenshots you provided are helpful, and using Query Monitor to test is a great step. It definitely seems like something isn’t right if the load time is still 41 seconds with only WooCommerce active.

In order to further investigate this issue, we would indeed need to take a look at your logs and status report. As you mentioned, these details should be sent privately due to the sensitive information they contain.

Please create a ticket through our support portal and attach the relevant logs and status report to investigate your issue further. Ensure to include a link to this thread, so we know what has been done already.

Meanwhile, I will be marking this thread as resolved since your concern would be best handled by our Happiness Engineers there.

    Thanks!

in staging i did this: backup DB, then delete all woo tables and reinstall woo 7.9 latest now is go fast… the problem was in the tables.. but i not know the right way to do this and mantain theorders also because i have plugins for configura products and hope loose somethings

I have the exact same problem since updating to 7.9.0 (and have troubleshooted the same as the poster)

Instructions on how to ‘fix’ the Woo tables would be appreciated!

    Thread Starter nikketrikke

    (@nikketrikke)

i make a try: cancelled the woocommerce_shipping_zone_locations because i inserted all the zones for remote areas the table is 99,137 so insane… probably on rev 7.3 not make a check of this table but by the 7.4 something changed i think this is the problem… cancelled and the 7.9 goes smooth.. BUT I NEED ALL THAT ZONES

    Thread Starter nikketrikke

    (@nikketrikke)

CONFIRMED I empty only that table and the woo 7.9 goes without problems… Please is there a way to not make a pre-check on that table as in rev 7.3 ? i need a solution thanks
