I am sold on using The Events Calendar for my client’s website, but am unsure whether to recommend Woo or Eventbrite for ticketing.

My client has worked with Eventbrite before, so there is comfort there, but I am not sure it is the best choice. Here’s our scenario:

Client provides swimming lessons and clinics. Clinics are easier as they are a one or two day event at a single location.

Lessons may be Beginner Level, offered on Mondays or Wednesdays, 6am or 8am, with Mondays at one location and Wednesdays at another. There would normally be 8 sessions (Monday at 6am for 8 weeks) per lesson package. Is this considered a recurring event? I am confused by what exactly that is defined as, and see that Eventbrite won’t handle them.

Would one of the ticketing options work better?

I’d like to get this right the first time and it is hard to make a recommendation without having used both tools.

    Hi Jenn2133,

Thanks for your post, and for you interest in our premium plugins. This forum is for bug reports and other issues with our core plugins, but it’s not the best way to ask about our premium plugins.

We’d love to discuss our options and what might be best for you. But would you mind posting in our Pre-Sales Forum? That forum is checked daily so we can provide faster and more thorough answers. If you post there, we can get a conversation going and help you find the plugin that will meet your needs.

    Thanks again!
    Leah
