Woo payment fails in test mode

Greetings

I’ve been having payment issue with Woo in live and test mode. At the beginning Woo support were proactive and responsive on emails but since 4 days there was no answer from their side. They take their sweet time in responding and I must fix this issue for the store.

we started by disabling all plugins. All themes. Checking error logs. Everything seems to be in working order. We fixed jetpack connectivity issue due to traces of cloudflare left in xmlrpc file. Also we re enabled the xmlrpc from the hosting provider. We removed and re installed jetpack and woo payment plugins and all orders/account details shows up again after setup.

payment always fails in test and live mode, even with test mode cards.

I need to be pointed to the right direction.
