    Hello,

On Cyber Monday, our website was experiencing mass slowdowns due to the Shipment Tracking API being called for every order. They were coming from IP Addresses

    52.23.165.85
    54.198.251.248

    and giving errors such as:

    54.234.50.20?– ck_23b0fc358c7e00ac3829f7ec6aa9007348778998 [02/Dec/2024:12:17:34 -0600] “GET /wp-json/wc-shipment-tracking/v3/orders/7******/shipment-trackings HTTP/2.0” 200 276 “-” “WooCommerce-Python-REST-API/3.0.0”

While this is most likely an issue with some kind of Third Party service, I was curious if these IP Addresses are related to the Woo Shipment Tracking Plugin itself.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello Joseph,

Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support.

To confirm, are you referring to this Shipment Tracking for WooCommerce plugin?
If you are then it would be best to contact the plugin support via your WooCommerce.com account.
They should be better equipped to answer your question.

    I hope this helps. ??

    Best regards.
