    Hello,

    Great plugin btw!

But I noticed with this latest version (5.8.0) of Woo, the status meta box is gone. Obviously, the analytics tab replaced it.

I have the “disable status meta box” unchecked but the status meta box doesn’t show on the dashboard. I’m assuming this plugin brings back that functionality?

How can I remedy this? If I uncheck the “disable woo admin” option it’ll bring back the woo dashboard and notification bar.

I don’t mind not having the status meta box and/or analytics tab but my customer definitely needs them.

How can I have the analytics tab and status meta box show up again?

    This one has been resolved!

I read somewhere once you’ve gone through the woo setup, the woo setup widget goes away and the woo status meta boxes are supposed to show up.

That wasn’t the case for me. I tried a couple of things. I even uninstalled the plugin. The 2 status boxes just won’t show up.

Then finally, you know what let me go through the setup wizard again. So I did it and it only took a couple of seconds since I already had everything set up.

Voila! I refresh the page and go back to the main dashboard and there they are!

The Question is how do you start the Setup? I only see it when having the Disable Woocommerce-Bloat Plugin activated – But its not useable then. Without the Plugin the Status-Box shows up and the Setup Box is gone

Edit: Found it and ran it, still does not work after finishing the Setup

    Hey there!

I’m trying to figure out how to disable the woo admin page and notifications bar without getting rid of the analytics tab. My customers are going to want the analytics tab for sales. The status meta boxes aren’t enough. I feel the same for my own woocommerce setup.

The developer of this plugin should’ve separated the “woocommerce admin” function. Instead of forcing us to either turn off all three or keep them on. Unless they’re all connected???

I can hide the notification bar with css but I’d rather find a way to disable it so that it’s not running in the background…

So what’s the issue on your side?

    Hey guys!

I found a solution to my problem and want to share it with you. Maybe it helps.
The WooCommerce Status Meta Box was not showing on the latest versions of WC and Disable WC Bloat. So what I did:

    1. Disable WC Bloat
    2. Revert to WC 5.6.1
    3. The Setup Wizard showed up on the dashboard
    4. Klick through the WC Setup Wizard dismissing all options
    5. Revert to Disable WC Bloat 2.5.2
    6. Check and save settings in Disable WC Bloat 2.5.2
    7. The WooCommerce Status Meta Box is back on the dashboard
    8. Update WC to the latest version
    9. Update Disable WC Bloat to the latest version

Now everything works fine again. Hope it helps!
