    Dear Support,

I have online store and using woocomerce. I have multiple suppliers of products. to identify which products belongs to which supplier I have added custom field meta:supplier_id,

but in some scenerios same SKU is available with multiple Suppliers so while updating prices and stocks from Supplier B it’s update the product of supplier A and same on adding. it skips since SKU already availbable.

can anyone guide if we can update the product only if sku and supplier_id both matched. and same at time of adding if product doesnot exist for same supplier.

    thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @toydubai

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you’re unable to update products on your site since some products have the same SKU and you would like that updating the product to be done if SKU and supplier_ID only matched, is that correct?

The custom field supplier_ID is not part of the core functionalities of WooCommerce. What you want to achieve is a bit complex and would require customization to do it. Since custom coding is outside our scope of support, I am leaving this thread open for a bit to see if anyone can chime in to help you out.

For questions related to development and custom coding, your best bet is to ask on any of these channels for support. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there, too.

    Hope this helps!
