Hold off updating to WooCommerce 2.0/2.0.1 if you use CardSave!!

If you use the CardSave Redirect Payment Gateway and have/plan on updating the shop to version 2.0 or 2.0.1, when clicking on ‘WooCommerce > Settings > …’, ‘visit cart’ or ‘checkout’ you will get a blank screen. Deactivate the CardSave plugin and this is resolved.

I have just emailed CardSave to advise of this compatibility problem.

    Hi Chris

Who did you get the updated plugin off? I emailed Hannah at Card Save and she’s trying to tell me there isnt one for woocommerce 2.0+

    This is not good news.

    Any update here?

I was emailed woocommerce 2.0+ plugin – its packaged with 1.0, still trying to get it to work but think that maybe to do with cardsave (have raised a support ticket)

Hi folks; Sorry for the delay in response.

The .zip file came directly from [ redacted ] and the email stated:

    “Hi,

Please find attached a copy of the new CardSave module for WooCommerce 2.0.2 and above. If you are not running a version of WooCommerce 2.0.2 or above, then you will need to upgrade before installing the module.

If you have an earlier version of the CardSave plugin installed, you must remove it before continuing.

To remove the plugin, login to your WordPress Admin:
    a) Click Plugins > Installed plugins on the left navigation.
    b) Click the “Deactivate” link below the “WooCommerce CardSave Redirect Gateway” option
    c) Click the check box next to “WooCommerce CardSave Redirect Gateway”
    d) Using the “Bulk Actions” drop down at the top of the page, select “Delete” and click the “Apply” button.

We also advise you check the files have been correctly deleted via FTP before proceeding.

Please see the install.txt file in the zip on how to install the module.

Please feel free to email us if you need any assistance.

    Thanks.”

I tried the uninstall options as directed above, but they didn’t work. As I don’t have ftp access to my site (don’t ask) I asked my IT chappy to do it for me and he had a right bugger of a job getting the cardsave 1.0 file to leave. Have fun!

    Hope this helps!

    Chris

Confirmed. I emailed them (at the address above) and they sent me the new plugin within minutes. Awesome.

Can someone email me this update?

Email me with your email address and I’ll email you what I have. You can get mine from my website. ??

Hey everybody, since youre all familiar with the Cardsave extension, you might be able to help me out.

I have the plugin installed etc. (I havent upgraded to 2.0 BTW) But when I get to the redirect part I get an error
“This transaction cannot be processed. The submitted data was rejected for a SECURITY reason: HashDigest does not match.”

I think I have everything filled in in the WP part as I need. Could I have missed something in the Cardsave MMS?

    ANY ideas greatly appreciated

    Thanks

    Hi there,

I’m having exactly the same problem after updating Woo and WordPress – I have deactivated the plugin and the site works, but obviously can’t take any payments.

Forest Skills – I was wondering whether you would be willing to share your update with me? ??

    Thanks so much in advance,
    Zo
