I am currently working on a WordPress website. It seems that just when I get close to completion the following happens:

– Checkout page endless loading of the “pay button”
– After placing items in the cart and clicking submit, instead of taking me to the checkout page, it says cart empty.
– The payment page says in test mode even though it is not.

I have google these issues and have found that others have had these issues with woocommerce.

My concern is that I don’t want to publish the site and have these issues arrive while having customers as my website is a platform and the vendors are depending on a functional website. I am requesting assistance on how to fix the above issues as well as information on how to prevent such issues and what to do should they arise when the website is published?

If that doesn’t help, as a next step please check whether the issue persists when you change to a default WP theme like Twenty Twenty-One or Storefront, and deactivate all plugins apart from WooCommerce. If this issue does not persist at this point, you’ll want to reactivate your theme/plugins one by one until you find the one causing the issue. You are welcome to test this out on a staging site using a plugin like WP Staging.

Ok, thanks. I was able to restore the site from a previous backup to get it working. Will configure the cache as you sugessted.
