    Hello!

Since upgrading WC from 8.7.0 to 8.8.2, I’ve noticed the that the WooCommerce status widget on the Admin dashboard doesn’t update if the order statuses change.

After poking around a bit, I realized that if I flush the Redis object cache, the status updates immediately. This was not a problem with previous versions of WC (and the same PhpRedis version).

Is anyone else seeing such an issue?

    • WooCommerce: 8.8.2
    • Client: PhpRedis (v5.3.7)
    • PHP Version: 7.4.33
    • Plugin Version: 2.5.1
    • Redis Version: 7.0.4

Have noticed the same having just recently updated.

Same issue here. The staus update does not work in the widget. But the status update works in the list view.

Second issue: I can’t create new orders in backend. All theses problems appeared with version 8.8.2

I guess we should wait a day or two until one of the Woo team respond, and then potentially report this on their Github?

@datracon – I can’t confirm your second issue, though – I just tried creating a order, and it worked.

    Same issue here.

    Hi @datracon

We are investigating the issue, but for this comment:

I can’t create new orders in backend. All theses problems appeared with version 8.8.2

Are you seeing an error, maybe something in the logs? Can you provide more details please

Hi there. We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.

The issue has been sorted by updating WooCommerce to version 8.9.0.
