Hello, I don’t understand when I try to import a file in a variation, each time Woocommerce generate a letter code at the end. For exemple: I’m trying to import a file name = thefilename.zip when the file will be imported the file name will be: thefilename-r64fj1.zip I’ve disable all my plugin except Jetpack and Woocommerce and nothing change. What can I do?

    Hi there,

To clarify — are these files for using in downloadable variations of the product?

If so, please check under WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Downloadable products to see if you have the “Append a unique string to filename for security” setting enabled:

    download files

If you don’t want the random string appended, disabling that setting should stop that.

    I hope that helps!
